Otis Elevator Company is searching for a Repair Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple open order projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The project manager ensures that each project is completed in a timely manner on schedule, within budget, and meets all technical and financial standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinating all contract activities from the project award stage to completion of the project and providing a progress review of projects to ensure that contract documents are consistent with the required scope of the project.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales staff, superintendents, branch and/or regional leadership to ensure a successful project from both the financial and customer perspectives.
  • Periodically visit and work on job sites.
  • Administrative duties that include customer billing, collecting payments, and other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the leadership team or requested by the customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the principles of cost estimating, scheduling and contract administration.
  • Possess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and others in contact with the job.
  • Previous project management experience is a plus.
  • Prior elevator or construction experience is a plus.

Education:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or business administration preferred.
