Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  3. Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.

  4. Business Strategy Development:
  5. Drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  6. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
  7. Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and market opportunities.

  8. Client Relationship Management:
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  10. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

  12. Sales and Revenue Growth:
  13. Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  14. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  15. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new partnerships and customers.

  16. Team Leadership and Coordination:
  17. Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and product development teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
  18. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and contracts.

  19. Reporting and Documentation:
  20. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
  21. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and transactions.

    Qualifications:

  22. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. BS in Engineering is a plus. A Master's degree is also a plus.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the industrial power systems sector. Focus on rectifiers is preferred.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong understanding of the industrial power systems market and products.Understanding of the sales and marketing process for highly engineered, premium product selling to industries, OEMs and EPCs.Understanding of the strategies and effects of disruptive technologies in the marketplace.Ability to communicate accessibly and concisely about product or service to outsiders, including prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors.Embodies strong internal ethical standards and ability to uphold an unwavering integrity to be successful in the organzation.
