As a Human Resources Specialist Reorganization and Strategic Position Management Specialist, you will:

Be responsible for carrying-out full-scale major reorganization efforts, realignment efforts, organizational designs, position management assessments, advising on reshaping efforts (Voluntary Early Retirement Authority (VERA) and Voluntary Separation Incentive Pay (VSIP)) from a position management perspective.

Be responsible for review of classified position descriptions (PDs); writes assessments/evaluation reports, and Personnel Impact Statements (PISs).

Serve as an agency-wide technical expert on position management, reorganizations, and position classification policies, and/or practices; respond to Human Resources program issues with potential for serious impact on HUD's mission, such as Office of Personnel Management (OPM) classification decisions or appeals that overlap in the EEO or Labor Relations areas.

Partner with the HCS Director and other OCHCO Offices as a subject matter expert to aid in building of the Position Management and Reorganization Program.

Make significant policy recommendations and comments that can change the way the OCHCO and POs do business.
