Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Specialist - Edge WAN Transport Delivery.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $ $ a year.

What you'll do:

We are looking for a WAN Transport Delivery Specialist to join our team at Eaton. In this role, you will collaborate with internal customers and Infrastructure value chains to specify, order, deliver, and document WAN transport solutions. Your responsibilities will include owning the WAN transport delivery process from end to end, managing the lifecycle of all WAN circuits globally. Join us and be part of a dynamic team where you will play a key role in providing transport consultation and managing delivery orders.

In the function you will be coordinating orders, testing, activation, and decommissioning processes seamlessly with Eaton peers and Carrier technical staff. Hosting and managing ongoing meetings, tracking order status, and providing transparent communication. Distributing Capacity Management reports and documenting circuit meta data meticulously. Ensuring smooth coordination of circuit disposition and billing with Eaton's Telecom Expense Management partner.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited institution in lieu of degree 5 years' experience with a tier 1 telecom carrier


• Minimum seven (7) years of IT experience


• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH


• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:


• Cisco CCNA or other Network Fundamental certifications


• Experience with telecommunication carriers on all aspects of WAN transport order management


• Strong knowledge of WAN transport fundamentals such as MPLS (Multi-protocol label switching), DIA (direct internet access), Broadband, 4g/5g wireless technology


• Strong work history of delivering WAN transport solutions with telecommunication carriers globally


• Outstanding record keeping capability, experience with maintaining master data


• Experience with monitoring tools, particularly SolarWinds highly desirable


• Experience with carrier order management and delivery portals such as AT&T Business Center

Skilled at updating monitoring tools and ensuring efficient utilization of technology. Known for providing quality solutions and setting high standards.
