The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of parts for our clientele while effectively managing the dealership's inventory. Your unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction will also involve supporting parts and accessory sales, as well as overseeing shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and returns processing.

To provide an outstanding customer experience, you are expected to meet or surpass dealership goals.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Parts Advisor, your primary duty is to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently. Your responsibilities typically encompass the following:

  • Overseeing the flow of parts processes.
  • Managing parts transactions.
  • Coordinating with the service department.
  • Handling returns.
  • Maintaining parts reference documentation.
  • Reconciling inventory levels.
  • Fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dealership parts counter position preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable and punctual; must consistently arrive on time.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and prior experience in parts ordering is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Professional demeanor and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Dealertrack is a plus.
