The Role

The Growth Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing and delivering successful client facing products/features within defined timelines, budgets and quality standards with a focus on conversion and growth of the customer base. The PM will own all aspects of the project delivery cycle from initiation to close out, requiring coordination of all resources, stakeholder management and effective communication. Candidates will demonstrate competent leadership skills and a strong drive for completion of projects. You will have excellent organizational skills and a proven track record in managing multiple projects of varying scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Product Planning and Execution; develop comprehensive plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets and resource requirements to deliver the contracted scope.
  • Coordinate product activities, working with engineering counterparts and ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor and track progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project success.
  • Conduct regular product/feature status meetings, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns that are raised.
  • Define and lead the cross functional teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities based on a defined RACI matrix to successful deliver and launch a product/feature.
  • Create clear work packages and assignments in support of contracted scope, ensuring that budget, quality and schedule are adhered to, creating a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the product team.
  • Identify and engage project stakeholders, establishing clear communication channels and managing expectations.
  • Identify and assess product risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage changes to product/feature scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and client requirements.
  • Ensure the product/feature scope is delivered, and that the product team are fully aware of what is expected of them in service of this.

Success Measures

  • Timely and successful delivery of products/features within allocated budgets.
  • High stakeholder satisfaction, demonstrated through feedback, positive relationships and customer referenceability.
  • Effective utilization of product resources and adherence to product plans.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks and issues.
  • Adherence to project governance and controls, demonstrating clear use of all standards, templates and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager, in a software based consultancy (SaaS and Martech experience is beneficial).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • SaaS Software Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS software delivery processes, project lifecycle, and related resource requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
