Seattle, Washington, United States Amazon Full time

Trusted by more startups around the world, AWS makes the power of cloud computing accessible for all by giving founders everywhere access to the same technology that powers the world's largest companies.

With nearly 20 years of experience gained from supporting hundreds of thousands of startups that have come before, we help founders prove that their world-changing ideas are possible, at any stage of growth or level of funding.

This is why more startups build on AWS than on any other cloud provider.

The AWS Global Startup Marketing team is seeking a Senior Startup Solutions Marketing Manager to revolutionize how AWS Startups shows up in the world.

This role is crucial in the development of compelling core messaging and brand campaigns that reinforces AWS's reputation, credibility, and trust as the backbone of the global startup ecosystem.

This includes owning internal and external positioning statements and marketing tools that articulate the unique value proposition of AWS for Startups.

In this role, you'll drive consistency of our brand narrative across all touch points and execute end-to-end unconventional marketing concepts, while ensuring our customer's voices are amplified across AWS's many marketing channels.

You'll proactively seek out data and trends in order to articulate the transformative power of AWS technology - which includes generative AI, in compelling, accessible ways as it relates to the startup ecosystem.

Success in this role requires operating with a "think big" get-it-done mentality, sometimes in complex, ever-evolving, and ambiguous environments, and persistence in the pursuit of bar raising brand marketing in the startup ecosystem.

Domestic and international travel are required.

Key job responsibilities
*Own and develop the core messaging for AWS startups, creating a compelling narrative that resonates across the entire startup ecosystem.

*Craft and execute think big media and brand marketing concepts that are truly differentiated and innovative among startup audiences, leveraging channels like Prime TV, Podcasts, and Twitch, along with industry events and social channels.

*Spearhead the development of comprehensive brand kits, messaging guidelines, and industry event essentials, delivered as actionable playbooks to field and sales teams.

*Build and manage the startup segment's reference program, ensuring customer success stories are woven into our campaigns, keynotes, website, and content.

*Collaborate with AWS executives to refine startup messaging in high-stakes presentations, ensuring consistency and maximum impact.

*Work cross-functionally with global stakeholders across sales, product marketing, brand, content, operations, and public relations to gather data inputs, proof points/statistics, to ensure alignment, and amplify the startup message.

*Measure, analyze, and optimize program effectiveness such as NPS, SOV, among other metrics.

About the team

The startup organization at AWS comprises experts from across the global ecosystem, including former founders and CTOs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and mentors who upskill today's founders to navigate challenges and opportunities as they build their business, and our Startup Marketing team is where the magic happens.

This high-performing team drives global initiatives that aid in supporting entrepreneurs and startups across their entire journey. For marketers who like to invent, there's no better place to build than on the AWS Startup Marketing team.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
