Position Overview:
Getinge is seeking an intern to work in the supplier quality team for Cardiac Assist division.
Job Duties:
- Communicate Non-Conformances to suppliers as they arise
- Populate leading indicators for team as part of a daily management meeting
- Track and communicate team timelines to ensure timely execution of SCARs deliverables.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn about supplier quality processes and procedures
- External communication with suppliers
- General supply chain experience and procedure exposure
- Help to eliminate backlog of SCARs
- Implementation of leading indicator metrics
Background Experience:
- Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a related life science field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
