Position Overview:

Getinge is seeking an intern to work in the supplier quality team for Cardiac Assist division.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate Non-Conformances to suppliers as they arise
  • Populate leading indicators for team as part of a daily management meeting
  • Track and communicate team timelines to ensure timely execution of SCARs deliverables.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn about supplier quality processes and procedures
  • External communication with suppliers
  • General supply chain experience and procedure exposure
  • Help to eliminate backlog of SCARs
  • Implementation of leading indicator metrics

Background Experience:

  • Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a related life science field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
