Job Description

Zobility is seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of quality engineers to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Quality Metrics: Develop and track quality metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in quality engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with quality management systems.
Preferred Requirements
  • Masters Degree: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Green Belt: Green belt certification in lean six sigma or a related field.
  • World Class Manufacturing Experience: Experience with world-class manufacturing principles and practices.
Skills
  • Key Performance Indicators: Experience with developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance.
  • Quantitative KPIs: Experience with quantitative KPIs, including problem resolution, time to fix, and time to close QAN/QIF delay.
  • Internal Plant Indicators: Experience with internal plant indicators, including DRR, DVx, SCA, and status/repair vehicles.
