Location:
Operating out of the Greenville, North Carolina, USA campus, this facility serves as a large, versatile hub for pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and packaging efforts. It offers both developmental and commercial services for sterile injectables and oral solid dose forms.

Hours:
Standard Day Shift - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a skilled team to deliver innovative solutions for both internal and external clients.
  • Leading capital ventures encompassing diverse design prerequisites like Civil engineering, Structural engineering, Process Piping, Power Distribution, Automation Controls, Process Clean Rooms, Aseptic Filling, Oral Solid Dose, Facility Utility Packages, HVAC, Chiller Systems, and Customer Equipment Installations.
  • Directing projects and project teams to ensure all planned activities proceed as agreed with the customer.
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule covering all phases from Basis Of Design (BOD) to validation and handover.
  • Overseeing the (BOD) formulation for facility utility packages, customer equipment installations, plant upgrades, and contributing to the estimating process.
  • Supervising the design and development of drawings and construction packages for facility constructions.
  • Ensuring accountability and effective management of engineering firms and construction contractors.
  • Compiling and presenting project updates to executive team members and steering committees.
  • Drafting site change requests and aiding in User Requirements Specification (URS) development.
  • Managing all financial aspects related to assigned projects efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

  • Mandatory High School Diploma or GED completion.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in engineering and facility construction, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Packaging, or Aseptic sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.
  • Twelve years of relevant experience could be considered as an alternative to educational qualifications.

  • Proven ability to lead professional teams effectively to achieve set objectives, assess, and resolve intricate technical hurdles.
  • Adept at functioning in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, proficient in multitasking and delivering results.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational proficiencies, alongside keen attention to detail.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain productive relationships with staff and the public, showcasing tact in handling critical matters.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.

Work Conditions:

  • Capable of lifting 40 lbs. independently.
  • Commitment to adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
  • Working in Cold Room/Freezers at -22 degrees.
  • Exposure to fluctuating Temperatures hot/cold.
  • Working in environments with Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery).
  • Exposure to Rapid flashing lights.
  • Utilization of PPE such as safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coats, and earplugs.
  • Exposure to Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.).
  • Working in an office setting and exposed to various outside weather conditions.
