Manufacturing Excellence Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Excellence Engineer or Industrial Engineer for a prominent client in the chemical sector across North America. This position entails significant travel (80-90%) to various production facilities, focusing on digital transformation and operational enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Transformation Project Director within the Composite Materials GBU to evaluate industrial improvement opportunities.
- Establish ambitious performance targets and implement change management strategies.
- Train local Change Agents and disseminate best practices across teams.
- Execute improvement plans aimed at enhancing production efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Cultivate a culture centered on continuous improvement within the organization.
- Monitor project outcomes and refine the Production Management System.
- Maintain regular alignment with Manufacturing Excellence Leaders across the GBUs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering role, preferably in the Plastics, Chemicals, Aerospace, Pharma, or Automotive industries.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Familiarity with stringent quality standards (GMP, automotive) and their implications on the product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of the industrial environment with a results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing, and motivating others, along with a strong leadership presence.
