Our three Resource Centers (located in Nashville, TN; Boulder, CO; and San Diego, CA) are available for scheduled in-person events or assigned workspaces for those who want to work in the office. Remote team members also have access to flexible space scheduling for occasional use.

Your Role As a HealthStreamer

Position Summary

The Product Manager, Scheduling will lead the creation of competitive workforce scheduling and staffing offerings that delight HealthStream customers. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this individual will identify and refine new opportunities for ShiftWizard products, including the deep integration of additional HealthStream platform components. This individual will work across departments to understand customer needs, serve as a subject matter expert for the product and the market, and ensure broad readiness for new product launches. This position will collaborate with design, development and multiple internal stakeholders to analyze roadmap opportunities before and after delivery, ensuring positive impact for ShiftWizard customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HeathStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

  • Product Management: Develop deep expertise in our product, our data, our customers and our market. Work to understand and help others understand context, priority and success measures. Identify and develop opportunities that are unique to HealthStream and highly valuable to our clients. Demonstrate measurable impact on our business.
  • Product Development and Process: Lead key product initiatives from concept to impact. Manage a product roadmap and backlog. Collaborate with design, development, quality, client-facing teams and clients to discover and iteratively deliver new features. Optimize existing products and services where needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Radiate information about product initiatives through the organization. Ensure cross-functional team members are well-positioned to do their jobs through prep sessions, training, process and collaterals. Earn respect and trust from team members and partners through transparency, consistency and insight. Evangelize the product vision and celebrate successes.

Qualifications

What You Will Need to be Successful

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • 3-5 years in a product management or related role.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Marketing, sales, training or support experience within healthcare preferred.
  • Software development lifecycle, Software as a Service experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proficient use of MS Teams, Office and like software.
  • Demonstrates, and/or develops, deep expertise in HealthStream software products like ShiftWizard.
  • Comfort with data - analyzing, deriving insights, and making data-driven decisions. Comfort with APIs and data products a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to simplify complex scenarios.
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Works successfully and respectfully within a multi-disciplinary team. Appropriately influences without formal authority or management control.
  • Manages activities and prioritization for multiple concurrent and complex projects with generally-defined goals and minimal supervision.
  • Ownership mentality, willing to lead through ambiguity and own personal performance.
  • Deeply curious about clients, their motivations and what they need to be successful.
  • Passion to advocate for clients, create great user experiences and evangelize solutions.
  • Ability to articulate and refine our value proposition, the "why" around product features and functionality.
