Job Purpose

Serve as the primary interface between designated business unit/region and supply planning in North America. Implement and develop processes and tools to perform planning activities. Lead and manage Distribution Planners and Production Planners/Schedulers to ensure the delivery of the required service to the customer.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the supply planning team for sites in designated business unit/region. Will set objectives, performance and opportunities for development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance on service and inventory as well as process efficiency and improvement.
  • Work closely with designated team members to deploy regional strategy and plans.
  • Manage the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) process and planned production capability exceptions for designated supply points.
  • Ensure planners plan finished goods products in the three horizons: Integrated Business Planning, Demand Control and Execution. Emphasize focus on optimal trade-off between service, inventory and costs. Ensure all finished goods are planned to manage production requirements, distribution or purchasing to ensure performance targets.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with demand management/planning teams, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service and finance.
  • Review and manage the performance of suppliers/tollers, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Manage exception escalation resolution.
  • Prepare and lead demand control meeting(s). Provide weekly and monthly performance analysis and action plans.
  • Demonstrate leadership in accordance with company values.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Economics or related field.
  • 6 years' experience supply planning and/or integrated business planning experience in the paints and coatings industry, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or retail industries with focus on supply chain improvement or consulting.
  • 3 years' people management experience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage change with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. Must be an effective listener.
  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Fluent in English.
Total Compensation

The compensation package for this position will include a base salary, annual bonus, and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.
