The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Drive the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Partner with business units to drive financial & operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Manage production of quarterly and annual board presentations.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations as needed to support decision-making.
  • Provide analytical support for the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
  • Strong, demonstrable financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and/or other presentation applications and financial database and data visualization applications
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or comparable professional experience
  • Ability to be onsite and work from Lindblad's New York office 1-2 days p/week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
