Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and strategic financial analyst to join our Commercial FP&A organization. As a key member of our global FP&A team, you will partner closely with our Executive team and Commercial leaders to drive robust financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Financial Forecasts: Collaborate with the Commercial Leadership Team to develop and deliver high-quality financial forecasts, annual plans, and operational analyses.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Work directly with the Commercial Leadership Team to educate and support them in completing their strategic plans and budgets, driving real-time analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Participate in Financial Planning Processes: Actively participate in annual and monthly financial planning processes, ensuring planning aligns with overall company goals.
  • Drive Strategic Analysis: Drive strategic analysis in areas such as assessing go-to-market strategies, sales capacity modeling, commercial efficiency, and cost structure optimization/benchmarking.
  • Improve Forecasting and Reporting Tools: Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, dashboards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Deliver Executive-Level Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate executive-level reporting and insights.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including Diligent Executives, FP&A, Accounting, Sales Ops, HR, and Legal.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience working in a senior financial and operations role in a complex organization.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling/MS Excel, and communication skills; in-depth experience with financial analysis and a strong understanding of go-to-market metrics.
  • Strong financial modeling experience and a willingness to dig into the details.
  • Advanced skill level in ERP financial systems.
  • Experience creating annual plans for a go-to-market organization from the ground up.
  • Proven ability to establish strategic, high-impact initiatives, defining performance indicators and operational focus.
  • A high degree of intelligence, natural curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships and consensus among multiple stakeholders with varying points of view.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment.
