UNC Physicians Network is currently seeking a seeking a full time, Board Certified Family Medicine or Med/Peds physician to provide primary care at a large tech company in Research Triangle Park. This clinic provides acute and primary care to its employees and their dependents in luxurious, private care suites. Physicians have the ability to recommend complementary medicine such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, optometry, psychiatry, nutritionists, physical therapy, or health coaching, all offered within the clinic.Care is consultative and treats the whole person, taking into account all aspects of their lifestyle.Practice evidence-based medicine where you are not paid for production; bottom line is measured by the quality of patient care.Work with a team that is committed to work life balance.Practice in a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on each individual patient.Clinical information infrastructure and support from UNC Health and at a national levelEssential Functions:Conducts histories, physical exams and prescribes medical treatment.Provides a spectrum of high-quality, person-focused, and often comprehensive health care services that may include episodic, preventive, occupational and/or primary health care to patients depending on the needs of the client.Participates in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.Drives outcomes for site across clinical programs.Participates in the development of clinical and administrative policies and guidelines.Demonstrates clinical subject matter expertise appropriate to the services rendered at the clinic.May serve as collaborative physician for advanced practice providers.Other duties as assigned to support the safe and effective operation and function of the heath center(s), business, and to ensure that services meet standards of high-quality, cost-effective care.Requirements:Licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain licensure)Federal DEA licenseBoard Certified in Family Medicine or Med/Peds(ABMS/AOA)Experience:3 - 5 years minimum in family practice, emergency room, ambulatory care, or occupational health settingsMinimum 3 years management/leadership experience within the healthcare industry preferredKnowledge and Skills:Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsExcellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internal and externalKnowledge and experience with Epic (EHR) strongly preferred.
