Operations & People Generalist


The Operations & People Generalist is responsible for managing various operational and administrative tasks related to corporate and people operations, to include the human resources and recruiting functional areas.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across several functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations

Assist with facility management of the office space, ensuring a conducive working environment and prompt resolution of facility-related issues. Manage corporate phone and mail operations ensuring timely distribution and proper handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Assist in the provisioning of office keys and fobs, ensuring adherence to security protocols and appropriate access management. Support corporate compliance mandates, such as ISO 9001, by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.

People

Collaborate closely with the People Team for compliance and communication efforts, supporting activities related to HR compliance, employee engagement, and recruiting initiatives. Provide assistance in the onboarding process for new hires, including assisting with offer letters & background checks, coordinating orientation sessions, preparing onboarding materials, and assisting with new hire paperwork. Conduct employment verifications for current and former employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Collaborate with team members to track and report Entry on Duty (EOD) activities, maintaining accurate records and supporting onboarding processes. Ensure and maintain that all employees are reflected accurately in the HRIS system Assist in the development and coordination of staff meetings and other activities to facilitate company-wide engagement. Conduct new Hire reporting for all states/ E-verify for new hires within 3 days of hire date Assist with annual HR compliance updates & audits Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Prior experience in operations management or related fields preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Jira, and other relevant software. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal operations.
