This role will be fully remote and report to the CEO of the company. Primary functions

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may also include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Maintain both physical and digital records as well as HRIS systems used by the company as it pertains to the HR department.
  • Act as a leader and mentor of the company
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for the company. Recruits, interviews, and manages the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Present offers to candidates along with dealing with all negotiations
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Manages, attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Work closely with the executive team and managers to provide insight on organizational restructuring, internal mobility, growth opportunities, and performance reviews.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other HR duties as required.

Your skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Google Suite and Excel.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems, strong preference for experience with Bamboo HR and CoAdvantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 2 year of Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
  • Must be located within the continental US
