Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with AWS

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack engineers with experience developing and building strong, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Location: Saint Louis, MO or Remote on USA

Responsibilities

Develop high quality software solutions using Java and AWS to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.


• Implement and maintain scalable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.


• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


• Utilize MySQL, JavaScript, Angular JS, , and SQL to enhance software functionality and performance.


• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.


• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating new tools and techniques as appropriate.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.


• Ensure software solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable, addressing any potential issues proactively. - Document software designs, code, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.


• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.


• Leverage domain knowledge in the Payer sector to develop solutions that address specific industry challenges

Qualifications

Experience 8 to10yrs of experience


• Required Skills: Java, AWS

· Nice to have skills MySQL, JavaScript, Node js, Angular JS, SQL


• Possess strong expertise in Java and AWS, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.


• Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL, JavaScript, Angular JS, , and SQL, with the ability to integrate these technologies effectively.


• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.


• Show strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with team members and stakeholders.


• Display a proactive approach to learning

*Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future*Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until 7/31/2024 The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
