Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Java, C#, Python, or backend Typescript.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain cloud-based infrastructures on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerized application deployments, particularly using Kubernetes.
  • A solid understanding of relational data models, including RDBMS/SQL and query optimization, with NoSQL experience being an advantage.
  • Experience in developing or architecting distributed software systems, including the use of message queues and scalable compute/storage solutions.
  • A strong familiarity with Unit Testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining data-intensive APIs, particularly using gRPC.
Preferred Skills

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • Proficiency in Go programming.
  • Experience with protocol buffers and RESTful API design.
Technical Expertise

Familiarity with:

  • Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Experience working with Google BigQuery.
