Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Back End Java Engineer with a strong background in API development and AWS Services, particularly in a tech stack that includes Springboot, Docker, and Kubernetes. The successful candidate will also possess experience in Python, contributing to the development of a Software as a Service (SaaS) product.
Work Environment:
The team is looking for individuals who can work in a hybrid model, with a preference for candidates who can attend local meetings in designated offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable Java/Spring-based solutions in a distributed system.
- Create new API functionalities and seamlessly integrate third-party APIs with a focus on security.
- Enhance fraud prevention measures by developing and integrating features into a cutting-edge security authentication system.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with over 8 years of experience in developing enterprise-level SaaS Java applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Document DB, ECS, Step Functions, SNS, and VPC, with an emphasis on creating scalable cloud solutions.
- Extensive experience in Python and Java for microservices and Lambda function development, with a solid grasp of stateless, scalable service architecture.
- A comprehensive understanding of delivering both functionality and an exceptional user experience.
- Experience working within an Agile development methodology.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to lead technical projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly and mentoring junior team members.
