Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for both Senior and Junior Golang Developers who possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering for the Junior Developer position and at least 7 years for the Senior Developer role.
  • Recent and active experience with GoLang.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Java, C#, Python, or backend Typescript.
  • A demonstrated ability to construct and manage cloud-based infrastructures on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with the creation and maintenance of containerized application deployments using platforms like Kubernetes.
  • A solid understanding of relational data models (RDBMS/SQL, query patterns & optimization, etc.), with NoSQL experience being an added advantage.
  • Experience in developing or architecting distributed software systems, including the use of message queues and scalable compute & storage solutions.
  • A high level of comfort with Unit Testing and its associated methodologies.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining data-intensive APIs utilizing gRPC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Go programming.
  • Experience with protocol buffers and a RESTful architecture.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with Google BigQuery.
