Java Developer with AWS

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with AWS with a strong background in building scalable high-quality and high-performance digital solutions. With a focus on Spring Boot, Java , Spring Batch the ideal candidate will contribute to the development of innovative projects enhancing our technical capabilities and driving forward our mission to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Develop high quality software solutions using Java and AWS to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Implement and maintain scalable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Apply MySQL, JavaScript, Angular JS, , and SQL to enhance software functionality and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating new tools and techniques as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure software solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable, addressing any potential issues proactively.
  • Document software designs, code, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Work closely with collaborators to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Leverage domain knowledge in the Payer sector to develop solutions that address specific industry challenges.
Required qualifications:
  • Experience 8to10yrs
  • Possess strong expertise in Java and AWS, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL, JavaScript, Angular JS, , and SQL, with the ability to integrate these technologies effectively.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Show strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with team members and collaborators.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K – $141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
