Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day usage and operations of a Learning Management System (LMS) and Synthetic Training Environment (STE). The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the LMS and STE and the overall retention of training records. The LMS Project Manager will track and catalogue all requests within the LMS and STE. This position is responsible for ensuring content is up-to-date in the LMS, and that the STE is functioning correctly. This Program Manager will serve as a liaison between the Curriculum/Instructional team and the LMS/STE vendor.
- Acts as the main point of contact for the Learning Management System (LMS). Actively identifies and manages stakeholder learning and development needs through assessments, student & instructor interviews, field observations, and other means to optimize the learning experience for learners, instructors, content developers, and leadership.
- Collaborates with and engages external vendors and internal departments for design and technical support issues.
- Manages the assessment, launch, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a Learning Management System (LMS) and Synthetic Training Environment (STE). Day-to day system administration includes:

  • Manages/tracks course requests; inputs training completion records.
  • Creates standard and ad-hoc system-level reports for all levels of leadership.
  • Maintains appropriate categorization and visibility of all courses in course catalog.
  • Communicates course requirements to affected users.
  • In conjunction with Course Leadership, ensures class rosters and pre-qualifications are accurate.

Participates in external vendor enhancement webinars; collaborates with stakeholders; implements and tests system enhancements.
- Networks with LMS / STE Administrators to learn new features/best practices of the LMS & STE.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's degree plus 10 years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of experience.
  • Direct experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) software platform.
  • Experience with the assessment, design, development, and implementation of digital learning and development solutions.
  • Experience with management and delivery of synchronous and asynchronous learning material.
  • Knowledge of training or instructional design best practices, including the ADDIE model
  • Working-level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and a record of stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time while meeting all key deliverables.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-functioning, creative, and established team.
  • Highly motivated, quick learner, and independent worker who can deal with uncertainty, complexity, and evolving responsibilities.
  • TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's degree, ideally in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development, or related social science field OR Bachelor's degree, in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development, or related social science field.
  • 4+ years of experience designing or revising existing instructional systems or development of new training programs, preparing instructor materials, and training personnel.
  • Certification in Instructional Systems Design.
  • Experience facilitating training sessions, both in person and via virtual meeting platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of OSINT, Publicly Available Information (PAI), or social media.
  • Experience in Educational Leadership.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and develop components of instructional design, establish criteria for training aids, and measure effectiveness of the total instructional program
  • Advanced level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
