**This role will be hybrid (3 days in the office) and must be located at our Minneapolis, MN, or Solon, OH office.**

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven Senior Analyst to partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve our people processes and programs. As a member of our People Analytics team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting people data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive informed business decisions to promote nVent's growth.

What you will experience in this position:
  • Promoting the People Analytics strategy through building, improving and influencing with data
  • Collaborating with HR, executive and cross-functional partners to convert business challenges into accurate analyses and insights
  • Generating insights to yield valuable organizational, functional and business actions
  • Developing and delivering analytics outputs (ex: Board of Directors reports, People and Culture Scorecard reports, etc.)
  • Designing and automating analytics processes to deliver compelling insights at scale
  • Leading monthly and quarterly reporting processes and the execution of ad hoc requests from customers
  • Assisting and supporting training and education within the HR community to foster our data driven culture
  • Keep abreast of larger trends and technologies in the People Analytics field
YOU HAVE:
  • 3+ years of analytics experience, preferably within Human Resources or People Reporting
  • 2+ years of experience using Tableau and/or dashboard creation & data visualization skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient HRIS skills, preferably Workday
  • Sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, V Lookups and Pivot Tables
  • Excited about telling stories with data
  • Strategic problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and develop and communicate clear, comprehensive analyses
