Our Enterprise Application team is a is currently looking for a Sr. Agile Coach to join our team. The Sr. Agile Coach is a high-impact servant leader who inspires success in our people and advances our ways of working in Lean IT (including agile, Design Thinking, and DevSecOps). In addition to coaching teams & individuals, this role will closely support the expansion of our Agile Transformation (expanding lean project delivery across the Trane Technologies enterprise) and serve as a key thought leader to improving associated capabilities. This senior role requires expert agile knowledge with responsibility for maturing lean IT delivery practices and experience evolving culture. This role will have tight partnerships with the Program Management Office (PMO), senior leadership and Lean leaders.

This is a Remote position.

Responsibilities:

Coach a variety of individuals, from teaching team members the basics of a framework or practice to improving the capabilities of executives on agile, Design Thinking, and DevSecOps.Observe and understand the context of a team or organization; combine what you learn with your agile expertise to adapt practices and your stance to promote increasing levels of agility.Contribute to the Agile Transformation as a key thought leader and execute deliverables to advance our roadmap as required. Help foster an agile mindset within individuals, product teams, and organizations to help them better meet their goals.Advise, coach and lead the transition from a waterfall environment to an agile environment for a large organization. Stand in for Delivery Leads (scrum masters) or Product Owners as needed.Facilitate sessions for those you support, including core events of an agile framework or ad-hoc workshops that will help a group improve.Serve across different stages of a team or organization's agile journey, from introductory training and coaching to continuously improving high-performing teams.Assist at varying levels of scale, from embedding within a single team to creating cohesion and alignment across a given IT ecosystem.A relentless drive for continuous improvement and self-learning while embracing servant leadership principles to mentor and guide teams.Responsible for designing and implementing scaled operating models for team success with ability to maximize use of lean processes and best practices.Designs/implements/ coaches for effective reporting practices to manage and oversee multiple teams working in parallel.Drives consensus and resolves conflicts quickly. Ability to facilitate productive meetings at the senior leadership level. Collaborative, team player with the ability to connect across groups and a proven ability to influence key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

B.S. degree in MIS, Business Management or equivalent 12+ years of project delivery experience in Information TechnologyMinimum 5 years working in product teams and product management. Advanced product management certifications (Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Product Owner).Agile, Lean, and Scrum Frameworks and clearly understand which techniques are appropriate for which context. Understands scaled Agile frameworks (LeSS, , Disciplined Agile, Scrum of Scrums etc.)Deep expertise in agile and DevSecOps and how process and toolchains are used to help in continuous improvement and continuous delivery.The ability to grow others through training, mentoring, coaching and advising individuals and teams along with a high degree of flexibility and can tailor agile practices and your facilitation style based on the context of the team and organization.Demonstrated success leading large agile software development/implementation initiatives with multiple teams working in parallel and has worked in several different teams of varying levels of complexity.Strong knowledge and expertise implementing lean status reporting and metrics to help make business and team decisions. Jira Expertise or similar technology experience.Experience with Waterfall project management and hybrid approachesStrong communication skills, written, verbal. Comfortable presenting information and facilitating meetings.Experience using Design Thinking to establish customer-centric solutions, experience in LEAN, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies along with experience with test automation capabilities and tools.Ability to potentially travel up to 15% of the time.

Base Pay Range: $120,000 to $159,000.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
