As our US Workplace Experience Manager (WXM), you'll play a pivotal role in Akeneo's employee experience offering by overseeing the smooth and efficient functioning of our Boston office. We recently moved to a new, state-of-the-art space with top notch facilities to match - we're looking for a passionate workplace professional to maximise its appeal and potential.
As part of Akeneo's People Experience function, the US WXM will serve as a key focal point to our US team, both in person and digitally to our remote employees. You'll report to the Head of Workplace Experience based in the UK. Your time will be spent on a mixture of office operations, communications, hospitality/team events, business support and above all, employee experience. This is a fully in-office role, 5 days a week.

Act as the primary point of contact for any office and/or building issues
Continuous optimisation and improvement of our workplace operations and workflows
Make daily workspace rounds to ensure the space is looking its best, taking ownership where applicable and/or flagging issues or opportunities to the relevant stakeholders
Coordinate and manage office resources, including supplies, equipment and furniture
Collaborate closely with our Workplace stakeholders, fostering close relations and building trusted bonds
Own and champion office safety protocols and emergency procedures
Have knowledge of, and organise annual trainings for first aid and fire marshal training in line with local best practices
Plan, create and share key workplace communications and announcements
Create and implement efficient systems to streamline administrative tasks
Own the relationship with our building managers, operate all key visitor management and other building portals
Troubleshoot queries in a timely, professional manner (email, slack)
Act as a central point of contact for our remote US employees
Support with new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth integration process
Support and champion our wider People Experience team initiatives - events, activities, drives etc
Process and monitor all office related expenses, including invoices
Assist in organising internal meetings and events, including coordinating logistics with our internal stakeholders
Help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and team knowledge
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently
Plan, host and support a diverse range of in-office events to help drive attendance, but also create a sense of community and inclusiveness
Help create a program of meaningful office events that bring people together around purpose
Organise our US 'End of Year' celebration
Liaise with internal & external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services - inc cleaning, maintenance, security, building management and others
Review & benchmark our suppliers and services to ensure we're getting delivering best in class experiences for our people
Obtain and compare quotes for office-related purchases and negotiate favourable terms
You're someone with strong operational skills with at least 3 years in office/workplace/ hospitality/facilities/flexspace/employee experience
You're proactive and have a lot of agency; you roll up your sleeves, take ownership of tasks and get stuff done
You'll have experience liaising with key stakeholders - people come to you because you make their lives easier and solve their problems
You have a strong resolve - are ok saying no, challenging ideas and requesting further resources when required
Soft skills are your superpower. You'll have extremely strong written and spoken communication skills, combined with highly tuned EQ in which to deliver them
Given a few guiding principles and values, you're able to resolve most, if not all daily issues
You have a growth mindset and feel comfortable being challenged, learning fast and moving from one project to the next
