We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco VPN and a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains. This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of our systems while contributing to the overall mission of providing secure and reliable healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

 Implement and manage security measures to protect our systems from cyber threats.

 Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Cisco VPN to ensure secure remote access.

 Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to potential security breaches.

 Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

 Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

 Provide guidance and support for incident response and recovery efforts.

 Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.

 Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Medicare and Medicaid Claims.

 Analyze and interpret security data to identify trends and potential threats.

 Lead efforts to improve security posture through continuous monitoring and proactive measures.

 Coordinate with external partners and vendors to enhance security measures.

 Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend corrective actions.

 Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to keep our systems secure.

Qualifications

 Possess a solid understanding of Cisco VPN and its implementation.

 Have extensive experience in Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.

 Demonstrate proficiency in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments.

 Show ability to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

 Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret security data and identify threats.

 Have excellent communication skills to provide training and support to staff.

 Display knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to healthcare security.

 Be capable of coordinating with external partners and vendors for enhanced security.

 Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

 Be adept at preparing detailed reports on security incidents.

The annual salary for this position is between $ $120000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
