The Product Value Stream Leader -,Weapons/Stores Management Systems (WMS/SMS) is responsible for all aspects of operational performance and overall health of the WMS/SMS Product Line Value Stream products.

The WMS/SMS Product Value Stream complements the Collins Management System (CMS) Customer Value Stream structure to drive customer satisfaction and improve overall business results by aligning strategy, engineering, operations, and support functions throughout the full life cycle of the product.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT) to meet all product line deliverables while creating and maintaining working relationships with functional leadership and internal customers.
  • Identify risks and interface with cross-functional teams to develop appropriate resolutions.
  • Solve complex operational issues through data analysis to lead the IPT in root cause and corrective action solutions while maintaining open communications and a cooperative work environment.
  • Prepare and present value stream strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership.
  • Lead Introduction of New WMS/SMS Products into the Value Stream throughout Pursuit to Order and Design & Development phases.
  • Drive actions to reduce cost and improve quality, producibility, and reliability across the product line.
  • Partner with CMS Supply Chain lead to improve supplier on time delivery.
  • Actively drives culture of QMS compliance and adherence to the Quality Cardinal Rules.
  • Lead a diverse group of professionals with strong vision, regular engagement and talent development for sustained career growth.
  • Travel 20% annually.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ?

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Engineering, Science or Technology degree
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Experience leading a project management or integrated project team.
  • Experience with managing product development programs.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving business results leading a cross-functional team
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to achieve cost and delivery performance targets.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing and supply value stream.
  • Experience/Familiarity with SI&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process.
  • Professional background and experience in Supply Management, Operations or Quality.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP GUI applications

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
