This role entails serving as the primary Program Manager for a significant aerospace project, ensuring the timely delivery of products while providing daily guidance to a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer support initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and supply chain teams to manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Represent the program to senior leadership, focusing on on-time delivery, production capabilities, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Work with technical teams to develop Major Inspections and new repair schemes for aerospace systems.
- Assist engineering teams in fulfilling reporting requirements for clients.
- Organize program reviews, team meetings, and other essential business functions.
- Manage financial plans specific to program deliveries.
- Ensure the operational success of assigned programs, including performance metrics and cost management.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and presentations.
- Oversee and communicate contract deliverable requirements.
- Manage demand and orders within the operational workflow.
Required Qualifications:
- A University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5 years of experience in Program Management within the aerospace sector.
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Program Management within the aerospace industry.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with military contracts and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively to align with organizational objectives.
