The Board Relations group seeks an Analyst to assist team members in managing Nuveen's relationship with an independent Fund Board. In its role as liaison between the Board and Nuveen, the Board Relations group has regular interaction with a broad range of departments and functional areas across the firm, including product development and management teams, legal and compliance departments, the investment oversight group, operations, and fund administration. The candidate will apply a consultative and collaborative approach to support the origination, coordination, and execution of board meetings from inception to completion.

The Analyst, Board Relations job also supports the Board of Directors by executing and maintaining all required official corporate filings, documents, reports and records according to applicable laws and regulations. While working independently under general supervision, this job is responsible for communicating with Board of Directors members and monitoring corporate governance developments impacting the organization.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supports the creation and execution of materials for Fund Board and committee meetings.
  • Coordinates and delivers board meeting materials.
  • Monitors fund governance developments, specifically industry news sources, and coordinates and prepares weekly communication to the board.
  • Maintains record of various board activities, such as: board member participation in meetings, board compensation, shareholder correspondence and monitors board meeting minutes approval process.
  • Assists Board Relations team in the sequencing of board topics and content of board material and messaging.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of financial services and/or investor relations experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial services and/or investor relations experience.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $60,800/yr. - $86,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
