Job Description

Understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the methodologies involved in DevOps.
Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub.
Working with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Working with one or more development technologies like Java, Python to build custom tools.
Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
Monitoring application performance and infrastructure health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana,.
Assisting in the automation of build and deployment process through scripting.
Troubleshooting development and production application issues across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Collaborating with software engineers to understand software delivery requirements and ensure they are achieved.
Understanding cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and managing resources on these platforms.
Implementing security best practices in the deployment pipeline to ensure application and data integrity.
Getting up-to speed on AI platforms like ChatGPT and leverage them to build creative solutions.

​This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science,

Information Systems or related field or at least 3 years of related work

experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of work experience

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

• Driven and self-motivated, work creatively to solve challenging problems.

• Working knowledge in at least one of the object-oriented languages (Java, C#,

Python, Ruby, C++, etc.)

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts, Service Oriented

• Architectures, Distributed Systems Design Concepts and Computer Science

• Willingness to work with different technologies.

• Knowledge/experience with AWS, Azure or any cloud platform tools .

• Knowledge/experience with K8.

• Knowledge Infrastructure (Linux/windows), Networking

• Familiarity with Github or any other repository management tools.

Additional Information

** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 79,000.00 to 111,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
