Field Service Specialist

If you are an accomplished Field Service Technician with extensive Level measurement product experience looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you With the opportunity to be based from Bakersfield, CA; or San Francisco, CA: or Sacramento, CA; or Phoenix, AZ; or Los Angeles, CA; or San Diego, CA, you will work with Sales, BDMs, Regional/Service managers and our National Response Center to coordinate resource needs, provide onsite Level service and leadership, including coaching and monitoring of other technicians on Level service, safety, quality, speed, and professionalism while performing and leading Level service jobs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and start-up services on all Rosemount Level Instrumentation
- Ensure safety awareness and safety leadership are at the center of all onsite customer activities
- Assist customers on-site and remote via WebEx or Teams Meetings
- Train and mentor field service technicians
- Provide Level product training to customers
- Support systems integration
- Work under the direction of STO Leads when applicable, but these positions will not be dispatchable on larger STO jobs (>3-5 days) unless sufficient Level product scope exists or with Management approval
- Take a collaborative, flexible approach to national versus regional customer needs
- Attend periodic review calls with Level Product and Service Management stakeholders
- Acquire and maintain certifications on other Rosemount and RTG products as time permits to be dispatchable for other Field Service jobs when no Level work is available

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Associates degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience with Level Measurement Instrumentation products
- Demonstrated knowledge of Radar Level Systems
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Strong Computer skills and Network fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Travel requirements: 50% or more , ability to work outside of a 50-mile radius from home
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- PLC programming and HMI experience would be an asset
- Completed Advanced Rosemount Level Training
