Job Description
Providing administrative support for Illinois Repair Center (no shipping/receiving in this role).
First half day in the work shop:
- Work with inventory specifically (NO MANUAL LABOR)
- Will grab order/repaid load to know which parts need to be picked
- Grab small parts based on sku's from cabinet
- Use SAP to enter and post parts/update system
- Log all data in the system
Second half of the day:
- Administrative work
- Checking mail/e-mails/faxes/voicemails
- Coordinate with headquarters for repairs and logistics
- Assist in maintaining database, filing, photocopying, scanning, preparing correspondence (letters/e-mails/faxes), mailing/shipping, and possible errands.
- Become proficient with Great Plains, the company's integrated enterprise software, ensure integrity of the system and data
- Assist in the physical process flow of the repair cycle and understand that there is a definite corresponding process that needs to be followed and entered in GP and Strategic.
- Assist in opening packages containing repairs.
- Input estimate in Great Plains, await response from headquarters. Keep track of repair status (proceed/decline), facilitate proceeds.
- Pack and ship watches that declined service and proceeded all paperwork, assure any and all e-warranty or warranty books are returned, proper shipping labels and invoices printed.
- Consistently follow-up on status with Repair Center Manager, watchmakers and spare parts coordinator to ensure limited turnaround time of repair, checking due dates, back orders, special promises, warranty obligations, comebacks, etc.
Qualifications
- 2+ years office/administrative experience
- Data entry into an ERP
- Ability to multitask and maintain productivity with high-volume
