Overview

As part of CIEF, this position requires a dynamic, highly motivated, and energetic individual. This position reports to the CIEF Director of National Youth Programs and assists with the high school outreach programs. This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, Texas with 1-2 days a week in the office or at events/in-person meetings.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Experience working in the construction industry (preferable, but not required).
  • Understand non-profit organizations.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking.
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for your work.
  • Reliable, dependable, and approachable with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and AMS systems preferred.
  • Availability for travel to support programs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with executing Trades Days and the Design Build Competition® program
  • Prepare invoices, reports, letters, mailings, name tags, and other documents.
  • Assist the programs department with basic fundraising and sponsorship benefit management.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for internal and external use.
  • Assist with social media and newsletter publications through storytelling.
  • Other duties as requested.


This is a full-time, hybrid position (1-2 days a week in the office or at events/in-person meetings) based in Dallas, Texas with supplemental benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401k savings program.
