FAST is the fastest-growing video segment amongst consumers and FAST ad spend is expected to surpass that of Broadcast/Cable (combined) and SVOD within the next three years. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the exploding and ever-evolving FAST space and play a key role in driving the growth of the TV Plus business.
The Samsung TV Plus Marketing and Press team is looking for a Brand Marketing Leader who will maintain and evolve the Samsung TV Plus brand, visual and messaging integrity, enforce global brand consistency, lead brand awareness strategy, positioning, and initiatives across consumer and B2B. This role will also lead brand health and audience research programs and serve as the main point of contact for all key stakeholders.
The candidate must have entertainment and media experience in FAST, AVOD, and/or SVOD. They should also possess proven success in acquiring new users while communicating the brand value, service offering, and educating prospective viewers to increase the service user base. Additionally, this candidate should have strong agency management experience, experience in brand development and management, connected TV advertising landscape (CTV), paid media, social media, content marketing, and be an efficient collaborator and leader.
This is an individual contributor role with an opportunity to manage individuals in the future.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Define and execute service narrative and positioning opportunities that drive awareness amongst Consumer and B2B audiences.
- Build and execute internal communications strategies.
- Present industry trends to key stakeholders and executive management.
- Lead service research program, present findings, and implement where applicable.
- Build Samsung TV Plus's new channel brands including strategy, positioning, logo, naming, visual and motion.
- Lead brand awareness strategy and implementation across connected TV advertising landscape (CTV) and off-platform tactics.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10-15+ years of direct entertainment and media marketing experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Excellent brand marketing and creative agency management skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to clearly and simply convey complex concepts.
- Experience cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional project management skills and time management skills.
- Ability to adjust priorities/tactics/solutions based on a constantly evolving environment.
For candidates based in California, compensation for this role is expected to be between $180,000 and $190,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
