Human Resource Specialist

Pay: Up to $70K

Location: Marlborough

Key responsibilities:

  • · Guide improvements in Human Resources department by monitoring policies and procedures, best practices, compliance, etc.
  • · Refinement of internal recruitment process, including generating/updating job descriptions, managing job boards, and refining the hiring process across departments
  • · Support employees through the entire employee life cycle including on-boarding new hires, off-boarding terminations, updating role changes by obtaining and reviewing necessary documents, processing into the HRIS and internal filing systems, and creating HRIS profiles
  • · Conduct satisfaction surveys/interviews for new employees within their first 90 days
  • · Respond to phone and email inquiries within 24 hours
  • · Conduct initial fact-finding regarding HR complaints or claims
  • · Monitor the HR email inbox for incoming requests and external inquiries
  • · Prepare and maintain supporting documentation including census data and other reports as needed
  • · Process and review I-9’s
  • · Communicate with sales representatives to assist with HR-related inquiries
  • · Participate in annual review of wages
  • · Participate in annual review of Employee Handbook
  • · Perform other duties as assigned
