Global Key Account Manager

Summary – Directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of Global GM Account, focusing on growth, profitability, and strategic alignment with business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in collaboration with customers.
- Travel to customer sites, plants, and supplier locations to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Develop and implement both short-term and long-term sales and revenue plans.
- Manage the assigned book of business, including Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning.
- Serve as the primary representative on technical and commercial matters, ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy.
- Prepare and present detailed quotes, negotiate product development and tooling costs, and verify price-relevant data.
- Present commercial proposals to customer purchasing organizations.
- Define and secure support for new projects.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to successfully launch new programs.
- Manage platform profitability and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Resolve customer quality and delivery issues, as well as past due accounts receivable.
- Oversee customer cost reduction and materials programs to optimize the company's position in both the short and long term.
- Support Program Management in all commercial aspects of assigned programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of Account Management experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of managing global OEM accounts and driving business growth in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30%; valid Passport
