Job Summary:



  • We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing design, computations, evaluations, and construction administration tasks related to power distribution, emergency generators, I&C systems, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and lighting design. Additionally, this role will involve project administration duties such as information gathering, report writing, proposal drafting, correspondence, project cost tracking, and progress completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong client interaction skills, collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrate flexibility in undertaking assigned tasks.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform design, computations, and evaluations for power distribution, emergency generators, I&C systems, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and lighting design.
  • Execute construction administration tasks associated with MEP systems.
  • Assist in project administration activities including information gathering, report writing, proposal drafting, correspondence, project cost tracking, and progress completion.
  • Engage closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the project lead or management.


Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Preferred Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in mechanical systems or plumbing.
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering, preferably in a structural context.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in MEP design and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.


Additional Notes:



  • Salary is $85,000 to $105,000 a year.
