Position Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in the entire lifecycle of new product, model, and system development. Your expertise will be vital in identifying and addressing technical challenges related to product performance, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1 - Advanced Electronic Hardware and Software Development: Lead the design and creation of intricate aircraft electronic hardware and software, from initial concept through to detailed specifications and parts lists.
2 - Project Management: Assume the role of project leader, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Conduct engineering design and problem-solving evaluations throughout the product development cycle.
3 - Specifications and Standards: Define and establish specifications, standards, and design requirements to achieve project goals and ensure compliance.
4 - Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for existing products, working closely with sales teams and clients to resolve technical issues and concerns.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Circuit Design: Strong understanding of both analog and digital circuit design is essential.
- Embedded Systems Programming: Expertise in programming embedded systems using C and/or assembly language is required.
- Familiarity with Design Tools: Experience with design capture software such as ORCAD, Altium, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues, along with excellent communication abilities.
- Mathematics and Electronics Aptitude: Strong mathematical skills and practical electronics design capabilities are prerequisites for this role.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Requirement: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is mandatory.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years in electrical design is expected.
- Aerospace Background: Experience in aerospace design and certification is a valuable asset.
