Position Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in the entire lifecycle of new product, model, and system development. Your expertise will be vital in identifying and addressing technical challenges related to product performance, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1 - Advanced Electronic Hardware and Software Development: Lead the design and creation of intricate aircraft electronic hardware and software, beginning from the initial concept phase and advancing through the production of sales drawings, detailed specifications, and parts lists.
2 - Project Management: Assume the role of project leader, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Conduct engineering design and problem-solving reviews throughout the complete product development cycle.
3 - Standards and Specifications: Define and establish specifications, standards, and design requirements to achieve project goals and ensure compliance.
4 - Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for existing products, working closely with sales teams and clients to resolve technical issues and concerns.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Circuit Design: Strong understanding of both analog and digital circuit design is essential.
- Embedded Systems Expertise: Experience in programming embedded systems using C and/or assembly language is required.
- Familiarity with Design Tools: Knowledge of design capture software such as ORCAD, Altium, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with both clients and colleagues, coupled with strong communication abilities.
- Mathematics and Electronics Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills and practical electronics design aptitude are prerequisites for this role.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree is a mandatory requirement.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design is expected.
- Aerospace Design Experience: Experience in aerospace design and certification is a valuable asset.
