We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide bioanalytical support to DMPK project representatives on biologics discovery teams. This position requires expertise in LCMS-based assays, quantitative peptide analysis, and the ability to analyze and interpret complex biologics data. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment focused on biologics drug discovery and development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bioanalytical method development and quantitative analysis of peptides using Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS).
  • Develop and apply protein LCMS-based assays to support DMPK project representatives on biologics discovery teams.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex issues related to LCMS instrumentation and methodologies.
  • Analyze, interpret, document, and summarize biologics bioanalytical data using relevant data analysis software (e.g., Xcalibur, Analyst).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing critical lab support in a highly interactive and team-oriented environment.
  • Contribute to optimizing leads and selecting candidates for clinical evaluation in collaboration with protein therapeutics, biology, toxicology, and pharmaceutical development teams.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/MS degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or a related life science discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in bioanalytical research, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Proven experience with LCMS, particularly in quantitative peptide analysis and protein assay development.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Xcalibur, Analyst, Graphpad Prism, SoftmaxPro, and Phoenix WinNonlin.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience in large molecule immunoassay techniques (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Gyros) is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
