Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant I to join our team. This role will involve conducting a wide range of laboratory procedures, analyzing data, and interpreting results. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of scientific principles.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory procedures, including human primary cell and cell line culture, preparation of media and reagents, and handling in vitro assays for BSL2-level viruses.
  • Analyze data and interpret results, with a focus on identifying trends and patterns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement experiments, and provide guidance and training to other department personnel as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on research and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
