Duties & Responsibilities
· Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships with hotel owners, management companies, brokers, asset managers, and consultants to grow the pipeline of new hotel management opportunities.
· Partnering with Resolute Road Hospitality executive team in the creation of a business development roadmap in line with the organization’s strategic goal.
· Understanding Resolute Road Hospitality’s capabilities to accurately articulate its value proposition to all current and prospective clients.
· Managing the company’s business development efforts including written formal proposals, compelling presentations, and creative solution packages.
· Prospect, screen, model, develop and maintain relationships from inception to close.
· Perform market research and analysis to prioritize new market expansion strategy for prospective hotel management contracts across the Intermountain West.
· Canvass new markets and develop relationships with local stakeholders to drive key target market expansion.
· Present new deal opportunities to internal stakeholders, effectively communicating each deal’s contribution to Resolute Road Hospitality’s broader strategic vision.
· Own submission of Letters of Intent (LOI) to key hotel stakeholders. Manage/support the LOI negotiation process from submission to execution.
· Manage/support the contract negotiation process from initial draft to final execution.
· Travel to markets across the Intermountain West, conducting market/property tours for potential hotel management opportunities.
· Stay abreast of market and industry trends to be viewed as subject matter expert.
· Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
· Seven years of experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
· Understanding of hotel/hospitality transactions, including Real Estate acquisitions and management contracts
· A strong network of contacts with potential owners, developers, and investors.
· Experience in the Intermountain West market
· Strong analytical, financial, and sales skills with exposure to the extended sales cycle
Skills & Intangibles
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Sense of urgency
· Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations
· Strong public speaking skills
