Job Description

Our client is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership with HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.


Job Responsibilities


Act as liaison between relevant stakeholders, including radiologists, MIC leadership team, technologists, and other external business partners to ensure clear communication about relevant clinical and technical matters and to establish efficient and effective

Play an active role as a technical expert with regards to development of the body ultrasound clinical service

Establish, write, implement, test, and longitudinally monitor and adjust body ultrasound procedural protocols in accordance with ACR and other applicable standards; ensure protocols are consistent with standards

Acquire and maintain accreditation for all body ultrasound locations within the network

Make expert recommendations regarding equipment purchases related to body ultrasound and assist with implementation/integration

Work with vendors as necessary on product development and product support, maintenance of product fleet

Coordinate training for and ensure competency of new technologists on applicable equipment

Provide quarterly continuing education, mentoring, and evaluations for sonographers to ensure service excellence, including a competency assessment administered at least annually for each

Perform quarterly audits of body ultrasound studies – address quality concerns directly with sonographer and, when necessary, the immediate supervisor

Oversee body ultrasound QA/QC program, as per ACR and other applicable accreditation entities

Partner with marketing team as a content expert and act as liaison to referring physician offices with regards to body ultrasound

Attend relevant tradeshows and symposiums to remain aware of new developments and enhance practice standards in body ultrasound

Assist clinical research team in evaluating relevant research

Perform body ultrasound exams as needed

Other duties as assigned


The pay ranges between $99K to 116K. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
