Job Summary:
Clinical Staffing Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced APRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Skilled Nursing Facility's leading provider of internal medicine services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the facility's interdisciplinary team and physicians to provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversee the care of all residents.
- Work with the entire facility's patient population, including short and long-term residents, to oversee their day-to-day care with the assistance of the facility's nursing staff and guidance from the facility's medical directors and attending physicians.
- Conduct monthly stability visits for long-term residents.
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
- Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting.
