Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health & Safety Technician/Consultant at Pacific EH&S Services, Inc in Orange, CA. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work on projects spanning asbestos and lead consulting, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, safety in construction and general industry, hazardous materials consulting, and safety training.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in a variety of EHS projects with an initial focus on asbestos and lead consulting.
  • Grow into roles involving industrial hygiene, indoor air quality assessments, and more.
  • Support in conducting safety training sessions.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support project objectives.
  • Maintain punctuality and a high level of professionalism in all tasks.


Qualifications


  • No degree or previous experience required; training will be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PC usage.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ownership of a vehicle and valid insurance.
  • Able to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug test.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Occupational Health, Health Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Analytical Skills
  • Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Certification in relevant EHS fields
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations


Location:


  • Based out of Orange, California. Potential for remote work at a future satellite office in San Diego County.
  • Work primarily within Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego counties, with occasional projects in Ventura, Santa Barbara, King, and San Luis Obispo counties.
