Plant Engineer Role

Heritage Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of our plant, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant processing of hazardous waste materials.

This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of plant operations, including process optimization, equipment maintenance, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize incineration processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Ensure that all plant systems are functioning within established parameters and safety standards.

• Collaborate with operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the plant.

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.

• Lead in diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions or failures.

• Work closely with the maintenance team to plan and coordinate scheduled shutdowns and repairs

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste management and incineration processes.

• Participate in safety audits and incident investigations to promote a safe working environment.

• Collect and analyze operational data to support performance monitoring and reporting

• Document maintenance activities and prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (required)

• Minimum of three years' experience relevant experience (required)
