The Major Giving Coordinator will be responsible for securing, managing, and stewarding its relationships with large corporate donors and will work closely with senior leadership in determining the organization's long-term fundraising strategy. It's an excellent role for a resourceful candidate looking for the next step in his or her career and support a worthy cause while working with a talented team of fundraising professionals.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively identify potential donors to grow portfolio
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement annual engagement strategies
  • Attend and represent the foundation at industry-wide meetings
  • Manage fundraising database


Qualifications Include:

  • 1+ years of fundraising or development experience
  • Analytical and strategic thinker
  • Salesforce proficiency strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills


Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
