POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing and Event Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team for Old Town. The Marketing and Event Coordinator will play a key role in assisting our Sr. Marketing Manager with day-to-day projects, events, and promotional activities. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our customers.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage marketing events and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate event staff schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create event collateral, including promotional materials, signage, and presentations
  • Maintain agreements with bands and events for the property.
  • Handle event logistics.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the success of events and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media management, and website updates
  • Maintain databases and manage attendee lists for events



Requirements

  • One to three years of experience as an Event Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Public Relations Coordinator, or a similar role.
  • Ability to identify challenges and resolve issues that arise during marketing initiatives and events.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in event planning and execution, including logistics, budget management, and vendor coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
